As the founder and defactor President the Scoot'n Yinzers Scooter Club, many area scooterists are familiar with the fact that 2009 was a tough year for the Scooter Dude. I was an Auto Body Collision Tech and part-time Vespa Sales Consultant at Day Chrysler and Shadyside Vespa and I was quite happy there.

When Chrysler, LLC forced the closing of the the Baum Boulevard Chrysler dealership, Vespa Shadyside was an unfortunate casualty. I spent nearly months waiting for a call back to work from the Day Automotive Group while trying to find SOME way to open another Vespa dealership in the heart of the city, but with banks and business investors currently living in exile at an undisclosed bunker, my hopes of opening Scooter Dude Vespa, LLC quickly faded.
